Wendy Adamson works at Polaris Teen Center, a residential treatment center for adolescents with grave mental health issues. Wendy is also an active member of the Women’s Association for Addiction Treatment (WAAT) and does her creative writing groups in multiple treatment centers in the Los Angeles area.
Wendy’s true stories have been featured in Huffington Post, Singular Magazine and The Fix.com. Wendy performs her stories on stage at Spark Off Rose and The Moth and speaks at local venues.
Since then Wendy has been writing and working as a counselor, using her vast experience with addiction to help others who are looking for a way out.
Wendy's articles have appeared in Santa Monica Mirror, Yo Venice and have been featured in Singular.com. Wendy also tells true stories at such venues like The Moth and Spark Off Rose.
Wendy is currently working on her memoir and resides in Topanga.
