Dr. Chana Silberstein

Chana Silberstein has been educational director of the Chabad House of Ithaca for the past 25 years, serving Cornell University, Ithaca College, and the local community. She founded a small alternative Jewish day school and has worked in the capacity of Jewish educational consultant. She is currently the director of curriculum for the Jewish Learning Institute, as well as editor for the flagship division. Chana is chair of Ithaca Area United Jewish Community, a member of the advisory board for jewishwoman.org and on the executive board of Sinai Scholars Society. Chana's work has been published in Wellsprings and Jewish Educational Leadership. She has also written for JLI, chabad.org, and lubavitch.com. Chana holds a doctorate in psychology from Cornell University and a Jewish teaching certificate from Gateshead Beith Midrash Lemorot.
